To apply for a U.S. tourist visa (B-2) from Saudi Arabia:

Complete Form DS-160 online at ceac.state.gov. Print the confirmation page.

Create a profile and pay the $185 USD non-refundable visa fee at ustraveldocs.com/sa.

Schedule an interview at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh or Consulates in Jeddah or Dhahran.

Prepare your documents:

  • Valid passport (6 months beyond stay)
  • DS-160 confirmation page
  • Visa appointment confirmation
  • Visa fee receipt
  • Passport photo (2x2 inches, white background)
  • Proof of ties to Saudi Arabia (employment letter, Iqama, bank statements, property/family docs)
  • Travel itinerary or invitation letter (if applicable)

Attend the interview. Be clear that your visit is temporary and that you will return to Saudi Arabia. If approved, your passport will be returned with the visa.

Embassy & Consulates in Saudi Arabia:

  • U.S. Embassy, Riyadh – Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh 11693 – +966 11 488 3800
  • Consulate General, Jeddah – Palestine Street, Al-Hamra – +966 12 667 0080
  • Consulate General, Dhahran – near King Fahd University – +966 13 330 3200

Showing strong ties (job, family, property, past travel) helps prove you’ll return.
