How do I take my children’s father to court?
Suggested next steps — you can submit an expedited motion called an Order to Show Cause (motion + affidavit) to bring the matter quickly before the court. Organize your case with a clear timeline of events, gather supporting documents, and list witnesses with direct knowledge. A local lawyer can prepare the motion or the court clerk may provide forms. For low-cost or free help, check your State Bar or the American Bar Association.

After a long period of abuse (including interference by his mother) while I was pregnant with his children, I endured more abuse when I rejected Tavarius. That led to him and his mother weaponizing the courts and police — committing what I believe was premeditated perjury using my child’s death to take my kids on two occasions in two different counties. They’ve defamed my character. I have documents and proof in the court paperwork from 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025.
