Does my LLC need an operating agreement?
An Operating Agreement generally only applies when there are two or more members. For a single-member LLC, the requirement is often less formal since there is no need to define internal agreements between multiple parties—there’s only one member, and thus, no one else to “agree” with. You don’t need one for that reason.

Hello and welcome to AskaLawyer! Could you please describe your situation?
Yes, I’m trying to become an Amazon seller and they are requiring a company’s Operating Agreement, which I created online just now. However, I want to know if this is even necessary given that my business is an LLC and I do not have shareholders. Just sole proprietorship.

I understand your concern. Could you please confirm if your LLC is a single-member LLC?
Yes, I’m listed as owner and manager of the LLC. And I also listed my daughter as a manager.

Have you consulted with a corporate lawyer before creating the Operating Agreement online?
No.

Is there anything else the Corporate Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured they’ll be able to help with your Operating Agreement.
Okay, thank you.

To make sure I fully understand your situation: the LLC is just you?
Well, I am listed as the owner and manager of the business, and I have my daughter as a second manager.
