You could send a demand directly to Meta headquarters, requesting reinstatement.

Address: 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025.

You could also threaten to contact U.S. police, which could harm any intent they have to visit the U.S.

I understand the importance of receiving payment for your services. Have you sent any formal written requests for the payment?

Yes, no answer and ignoring my calls.

Can you confirm if there was a signed contract or agreement in place outlining the terms of payment for the Facebook marketing services provided?

Yes. I have a screenshot.

Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured they’ll be able to help with your payment collection issue.

That’s it.

Welcome and thank you for using AskaLawyer. My name is Liz and I’m the attorney who will be assisting with your legal question. I know that dealing with the law can be difficult and confusing, so I’m here to help! So I can best help, in what state is the client?

Yes, I’m in PA.

Oh—I’m sorry, I’m the one who performed services.

The client lives in Dubai.

I don’t believe they have any assets here.

They were admins on my Facebook page.

Thanks for clarifying. Do they have any connections or assets in the U.S.? With a client in Dubai, you do normally have to sue them where they are located.

Did you have a contract in writing?

Yes. Here’s what happened:

On Monday Dec 23, 2024, the client agreed to pay me, the service provider, $14,000 USD for Facebook services once he received a payout from Meta for $28,267.79.

On Jan 22, 2025, the client received the payout. It was agreed I would be paid via PayPal as soon as the payout was made. That didn’t happen.

On Feb 12, the client only paid $5,000 out of the $14,000 owed, leaving a remainder of $10,000 unpaid.

As of March 4, 2025, he still hasn’t paid the remainder.

He said he’d pay between Feb 22 and Feb 26, but nothing was received.

I created a demand letter and sent it off.

Thanks for the info.

What else could I do to scare them into paying without going through all that hassle?

Unfortunately, you’d likely need to open a lawsuit against them in Dubai since that’s where they are located.

You would normally hire an attorney in Dubai. Here’s a link that may help:
