I have shirts that I’ve had designed for my podcast. I sell them on a friend’s website where he does print-on-demand for several bands and podcasters. How can I get a demand letter sent to an individual that owes my company money today?

The individual was notified in March that a substantial amount was due to be paid to our company in exchange for services we provided to him. He made attempts to pay down the debt, but after April of this year has made no further contact or attempt to pay anything else. We have reached out to him both via phone and text, to no avail. The last time we spoke to him, we sent a message explaining that we would officially cancel services and cancel any training completion certificates that we had issued prior if we did not receive payment for previous invoices. That message was sent on June 11, 2025. The amount owed now sits at $7,145.

In Texas, veteran-owned LLCs get a five-year tax exemption. I want to start this with a friend — I don’t want him to get screwed, but I also don’t want to lose the exemption. Is there a way to legally set it up so he’s not a co-owner on paper but still gets benefits like one?

Can my employee take customer data and start a business?

They told me they were leaving to start their own jewelry store. They told me they had no information from my store. They actually did. I confronted them and said they had 24 hours to return it and delete everything from their computer. They sent back over 120 appraisals with my customers’ personal information on them.
