I was aggressively forced into buying expensive skincare products and a device with my sister while we were shopping. We repeatedly said no, but they wouldn’t let us leave until we bought a $2,100 device and $800 worth of product. The product has harmful ingredients they didn’t disclose, and it’s making me break out. My sister’s skin is now extremely dry — which it never was before — and they claimed the products would fix dry skin. It has only made it worse. I looked into the company and found many others having similar experiences. I feel like the company needs to be stopped. Do I have any legal action against them?

Long story short, the fire sprinklers in the facility were triggered. The facility demanded access to the unit to evaluate water damage. Water damage was found and the water-damaged items were removed from the storage facility while they were processed for repair or replacement. In that time, the owner of the storage facility, without any notice to me, discarded my items.

I was assured someone would contact me and let me know if things changed and they wanted to repossess my car. The company claims they called me on 3 different dates, but I have no calls or messages on my side. They knew I travel for a living and am never home. I have my account on paperless billing and we communicate via email and phone. They did not send me an email. They mailed me a letter and took my car in the middle of the night. I did not have a chance to do anything about the payment, return my car, or remove my things. When my belongings were returned to me, many things had been stolen. They will not give me access to our correspondence without an attorney, and so far no attorney wants to take my case without the information they refuse to give.

Hello, I have a suit that I need to file in small claims court. The only problem is that I don’t have the address of the business that didn’t provide their services. They’re a DJ, so there’s no business address. How do I get this person’s address to deliver the lawsuit?

I’m in South Carolina but the vehicle was purchased in Virginia. I bought a vehicle from a different state that was shipped to me. I paid the cost in full before the van got to me, and it is in very poor condition, not at all as described. Since it’s second-hand, I don’t think lemon laws apply. I also realized they haven’t given me the title yet. They offered to buy it back but I would lose $8,200 because they won’t take it as a return. I want to know if it’s worth it to pay a lawyer to look further into this, or if I don’t have great chances of winning—in which case I’d rather take the $8,200 since I don’t have much more money to “play” with. I’ve been back and forth with the dealership since then because of the poor condition, and now I realized I have an even bigger problem with not having the title. My ideal resolution is to get my $26,400 back in full plus attorney’s fees, and that they pay to ship the van back to them. I don’t want it and I’m only allowed one vehicle where I live so I need to get rid of it ASAP. At a local dealership they ran a history and discovered it’s still registered as a rental van—it’s not even in the name of the dealership where I bought it. The lawyer yesterday said I should absolutely hire a lawyer for this. Do you agree? My other question I didn’t get to ask yesterday: should I stop all contact with the dealership OR email them that I will be suing for a full refund unless they give me my money back and take the van off my hands? I’m on a tight timeline. I desperately need a new vehicle and for that I need this money back and the van out of the property ASAP. The dealership is expecting me to ship the van back on Friday, in exchange for $18,000 payable via wire transfer to me after they receive it. But after all they did, I’m afraid if I ship the van, they won’t pay me at all. So I need to try to hire a lawyer before Friday and to know whether to continue communication with them. Main goal here: get my money back the fastest way possible.

Hello. I keep having issues with companies that want to use bot automation and it affects me as the customer. They are not being accountable. For example—my car got repossessed because I couldn’t log into my account. They told me to wait for them to fix the IT issues, but their system kicked in and, without contacting me, repossessed my car. I’m having to get an attorney to fight it. I ordered groceries for delivery; the driver didn’t want to deliver them and wanted me to walk to the clubhouse door. They didn’t deliver at all and ghosted. The company refused to help me get my groceries, charged me $100, and told me I need to wait 10 days to get my money back—and they aren’t even trying to send my groceries. Those are just two examples of the extreme experiences I’m having. I’m tired of going through this. I pursue the issue with the company and then report it to the BBB, but I’m sick of spending my time like this and dealing with issues that take eight hours a day in calls to outsourced call centers that treat me like I’m a “Karen” and don’t care to help. I can’t reach the company and this just isn’t right. What do I do about this? I can’t call any IT person about universal bot problems in IT.
