Hello, I have been purchasing gift cards off the internet and selling them for profit. I want to know if I am legally obligated to know where these gift cards are coming from.

So lets say I buy five thousand dollars worth of product, I sell them and make my money, and the deal with the party that sold them to me is done.

You can't unring the bell so to speak, but you can implement procedures going forward to confirm the vendor's identify.
So I wont get in trouble directly, but I would need to be cooperative with any investigations.
