Charlie
Completely understand. Did you already file the divorce petition?

Are there any special rules around asset divisions that I need to be aware of? We are in agreement on the split.
I just want to make sure a court down the road can't reopen and say well you have to split this 50/50.
Charlie
No, as long as you both agree the judge will accept how you distribute assets amongst yourself. As long as you address all assets in the settlement agreement, the divorce would not be re-opened.
Ok so If i get the attached notorized and filed at the courthouse it will finalize 10 days later?
Charlie
Yes.
Perfect. I think that is all I need.
Charlie
Very good.
