If I lost my Title IX case, can I still sue the school?

Do I have a retaliation case?

I got an injury on the job. When I asked to see my personal physician, they clocked me out and told me it wasn’t a workers’ compensation claim. I had to pay for my own treatment. Prior to this, I turned in a predesignation of personal physician form a week after getting hired.

I suffered a fall at work recently. Can a lawyer represent me even if I claimed workers' compensation to pay for some of my medicine?

I worked for a power company and Light for 22 months, but I had a signing bonus of $12,000 that had a stipulation that I must work there for 24 months or I must pay the bonus back in full. They sent a letter requesting that I repay almost double the bonus. There have been people in the recent past who had retention bonuses of over $100,000 that the company did not pursue. Should I ignore the request?

I have a business in Washington state and an employee who’s called out sick for two weeks straight. He has a valid doctor’s note. We don’t have the staff to cover him that long, so I hired someone, but I don’t know how long he’ll keep calling out. Are there any laws about this?

I recently quit my job at a local tax accounting firm. I left due to my boss making me feel uncomfortable. She would often make me feel minimized and even mocked me at times. One time she asked me who I voted for president, and when I gave my answer she laughed at me in front of the whole office. I was the only one of differing political views in the office so this made me very uncomfortable. Another time she spoke to me about how she does not respect those who transition from one sex to another, and that “that is a battle they will never win.” I feel that I should do something to report this hostile environment but I am not sure what, if I can do anything.

I was suspended today.

Lack of Documentation — HR refused written confirmation. Union Refusal — Claimed different tax IDs nullify return rights. Retaliation Concerns — Possible bad-faith avoidance of contractual obligations. Goal:To enforce contractual return rights under Article 41 and challenge denial of reinstatement.
