My brother died. He had no will but has properties. Not married. Supposed to have 2 kids—him or us not sure. However, we think the girl maybe. He always told me he wanted me to have everything, since he claimed me as his last living relative. He told us how he wanted his burial and as soon as he passed, we did what he wanted.

My mother passed away in Dec. 2023. She had repeatedly stated that neither of my brothers were to receive anything after her death. I tried to speak with both of them about a policy from my grandmother (who passed a month before my mother), where I was listed as a 50% beneficiary. When I brought it up, they both said they had nothing to discuss and didn’t want to hear it. Do I still need to list them as beneficiaries?
