My husband and I would like to do a postnup. It is pretty simple and clean. Each one agrees to keep all of our marital assets, money, etc. separate and not have claims on each other’s in the event of a divorce. Is completing and signing the postnup form this site and taking it to a notary sufficient to protect one another?

I have never set up a parenting plan. Our daughter is 8, and we split when she was 6 months old. We have been able to manage a schedule fairly well over the years. In my opinion, he can be abusive and makes threats when something upsets him. It doesn't happen often, but it scares me when he gets in those moods. He has dual citizenship with the U.S. and South Africa. I just want to make sure there is a legal document so he couldn't take her to South Africa for an extended period of time.

Is there recourse if an appeal was closed because of a missed due date? It was in their system. I filed a petition to modify custody for my daughter. The judge ordered primary custody of my son to my ex, even though no petition was filed for my son. My ex bought him a BMW and told him he could only drive it at his house. I wasn’t there that day, and the judge issued the order with no petition.

I currently reside in Arizona with my son. His mother refuses to give back my son from Texas and now I’m going through the courts to get him back. I have to go back to Arizona tomorrow so I can sign the final document. I would like my parent to have power of attorney over my son so the local law enforcement can turn him over to my parents. I want to create a power of attorney for both of them out of Texas and Arizona.

This power of attorney agreement assigns POA to me, and then to my brother if I am no longer able to serve as Agent. In other words he would be my successor. My question is this: Who needs to sign in front of a notary to create the POA? I think just my mother and myself. My brother would sign in the case when he needs to assume POA. Is that correct?
