I was at a job a month ago and HR told the manager what we talked about and also told me what another employee said while he was in there. I left that job because I feared for my safety. If I can’t go to HR then where can I go? The manager was super inappropriate as well, calling people racial slurs. I want to know if I can sue that company for violating my confidentiality while talking to HR.

I moved out of a rental house, and the landlord kept about $500 of my ~$2,000 security deposit for “expenses.” I asked for proof of damages and justification—no reply. I hinted I’d have an attorney request it; now they won’t respond at all. I have move-in and move-out videos (haven’t told them). I suspect they do this to every tenant. How do I get their evidence without filing in civil court and doing a Request to Produce?

I’m not the biological father, but I was with the mother through her pregnancy while the biological father was harassing her to get an abortion. Hi! I have a question about the lease term dates. When our tenants moved in, they moved in on February 26 and paid the first month's rent on February 28, which we mutually agreed would be the rent payment due date. The tenant failed to pay the rent on May 28. On our eviction letter, would the rent-owed rental period be between March and May 28 or May 28 to June 28?
