A Shakopee police officer falsely charged me for a misdemeanor I didn’t commit. I should have been charged only for not having a Minnesota license — I had an active Arizona driver’s license but was living full time in MN and was honest with the officer immediately. (I’d assume/hope his camera was on during the traffic stop.) What are my options?
Now I’ve found out that Minnesota temporarily suspended my driving privileges. I want to receive damages for this.

Does Idaho law (Rule 120) support my position that child care during medical leave qualifies as “work-related” due to temporary incapacity? Can the other parent be legally required to pay their share even if I wasn’t working but was medically incapacitated? Is the court likely to view my decision to maintain child care as reasonable and necessary under the decree?

In college I drove with a headlight out and got a ticket. I missed the court date by one day and called in to see about rescheduling. They asked me to bring cash to reschedule. I had no idea I was considered arrested or what any of this meant. I went to court. Still unaware of what was happening, I pled guilty. Then went to the border of Canada and found out I am a felon there, I have an FBI # for contempt of court and I have issues traveling to Canada. I came back from that trip and contacted an attorney who said all I could do was expunge my record and he refused to help me for a headlight ticket. I am now almost 50 and find all of this hard to believe now that I’ve learned more about the system and tickets. What can I do about this?

I am in Texas and got charged with Misdemeanor A for abandoning a dog. The dog was a stray that I picked up and took to a shelter to get checked and see if they could take him. It started growling at my kid in the back, and I let it go from my car. What can I do to defend my case? This happened in Waller County.
