So my mom is placed on hospice and cannot make decisions for herself. My dad is her husband, legally married, but he wants to sign me power of attorney to be able to help with all the financial stuff. Who do I put as first on the paperwork, my dad or my mom?

The state of Hawaii rejected my Transfer on Death Deed because my signature does not include my middle name. But the notary hand-printed my full name on the notarized page, even though I signed using just the middle initial. My driver’s license is my ID. It also has my full name printed on it, but I signed it with just the middle initial. What is the best legal way to correct this? Is there a way to indicate that both ways are me?

Hello! My father passed in October of 2023 and it stated in his Trust/Will to sell his properties. One property has tenants and we provided them with a notice that the property is for sale and will be shown on April 26, 2025. One tenant did not accept his letter and the Post Office returned it. I then had it posted to his gate at the residence (he locked all the gates so we couldn't get access to the property) and took a picture with the address in sight. Do I count the original date or the new date?

I have two vehicles. I took a loan, and it was all paid in full. When I asked for the title, they told me I still owed $1,000 for each vehicle. I showed them all my receipts, but they did not honor them. They repossessed one of them. The amount of the car is 20 times more, and they sold it. I received no certified public notice and was not given the details on the sale. In the meantime, I still cannot register the other one, which is 50 times the price of the amount they are claiming.

We operate a transitional housing program where tenants live on site in the place where we provide other homeless services. We have a participant who is harassing a staff member. This participant previously acted out violently against a roommate and was arrested. We need to evict for the safety of staff, and possibly other clients. Is this a standard eviction?
