One of the issues we have is the landlord invading privacy. The lease states that 24-hour notice is required for entry unless it’s an emergency repair. There’s no emergency repair right now, but he’s telling me he’s going to show up at 12:00 or 12:30 tomorrow. I texted him back saying, “You’re not getting in until we go before the judge.” He said, “I’m the landlord and I’m going to be here.” I’ve already had the police down here this weekend for the invasion of privacy — I woke up in the afternoon to find a teenager standing in my bathroom window.

So, I recently did somebody’s hair for their wedding. I was their hairstylist at the Royal Finesse in New Orleans. Basically, one of the coffee tables in her suite — the trimming that was nailed in — must have fallen off, leaving the nails exposed. While I was doing her hair, I backed up and one of the nails went through my foot. It immediately started bleeding. We had to stop the bleeding so I could finish her hair for her wedding. My question is: I let security know and they did an incident report, but I don’t know what my next step should be. Should I follow up and ask for compensation (like a free room or something) because of what happened, or should I just let it go like nothing happened?

I have a car that was purchased during my previous marriage. I paid it off before the divorce and used it throughout our marriage. After the divorce, I kept using it, but when I tried to renew the registration I couldn’t because the DMV shows it under my ex-husband’s name. I’ve asked him multiple times to transfer the title and he refuses. He’s now threatening to report the car as stolen to get me in trouble. What can I do?

The individual was notified in March that a substantial amount was due to be paid to our company in exchange for services we provided to him. He made attempts to pay down the debt, but after April of this year has made no further contact or attempt to pay anything else. We have reached out to him both via phone and text, to no avail. The last time we spoke to him, we sent a message explaining that we would officially cancel services and cancel any training completion certificates that we had issued prior if we did not receive payment for previous invoices. That message was sent on June 11, 2025. The amount owed now sits at $7,145.
