[PA] My employer just threatened me with retaliation if I continue to pursue disciplinary action against a worker he favors. If I resign, will this affect my legal case against him?

I’m a QA Supervisor for a BioPharma company in Pennsylvania. Hostile work environment. Noncompliant workplace with FDA regulations, don’t feel safe at work. I was just threatened with potential retaliation with violence if I continue to pursue disciplinary action against a warehouse worker because he’s a boxer, and the owner likes him because he “does things for the owner,” insinuating I should back off.

[IL] I co-signed a lease for an acquaintance who used my credit card information without my consent to pay rent for seven months, totaling about $12,000. What can I do?

They admitted it was a mistake and agreed to repay me, and I have evidence of this. They have also defrauded another individual. My credit card company has reversed some of the fraudulent charges. The leasing company is attempting to collect rent from me, even though I wasn’t the primary tenant and they haven’t contacted them. The acquaintance has stopped responding to my messages. This situation is in Chicago, IL.

What do I do if my employer denies worker compensation?

I got an injury on the job. When I asked to see my personal physician, they clocked me out and told me it wasn’t a workers compensation claim. I had to pay for my own treatment. Prior to this, I turned in a predestination of personal physician form a week after getting hired.

Can I sue for misrepresentation in a contract?

I signed a matchmaking contract for $50,000 for ‘up to three’ introductions. I questioned this very low number, and they said it was because they were so precise in their methods and would only take clients they felt would be successful. It seems that others got many more matches for the same money. When I questioned the owner after my contract expired, she said, 'It was the contract I signed.' Of the introductions I had, the profiles were exaggerated or inaccurate.
