How do I split a property if my partner and I separate?

My fiancé and I purchased a condominium together for the price of $325,000. I paid $299,000 and he paid $26,000. We had another financial arrangement concerning his investments and placing me on those, and he has not fulfilled the verbal agreement. In the event we do not stay together, I would like a quitclaim deed transferring the entire condo to my name solely. He has agreed, with some provisions we will put in writing. Is there anything I should know?

Can I remove myself from a deed?

I co-signed for my son's mortgage in 2008. I am still on the deed and would like to be removed. I assume I can accomplish this by submitting a Quitclaim Deed form to the county. I know I'm still on the mortgage, but would like to be off the deed.

How do I complete a deed if transferring to an entity?

I created a deed to transfer a property in my name to a living trust. The Grantee section has a blank for marital status, but this is a trust. What is the proper verbiage for the classification instead of marital status? Entity?

[AL] [AL] Was my purchase of my mother’s property valid for Medicaid purposes?

We are applying for Medicaid for skilled nursing for my mom. She had this little property in Hamilton that is part of someone else’s yard. We couldn’t get a realtor to list it. I thought I could buy it from her for the appraised value of $1,040. I had an attorney’s office prepare the deed, my mom signed it with a notary present, and we filed it with the county. I paid my mom $1,040 with a personal check. I also paid the recording fee and taxes. Medicaid has now asked for a settlement statement.

Arizona Beneficiary Deed: It asks for prior recorded information. Does this refer to recording information for the original vesting deed and/or the existing deed of trust? A beneficiary deed, I believe, has no effect on either. If so, leave blank?

[FL] [FL] How do I change wife’s maiden name on an old quit claim deed to reflect her married name?

Yes, the property was our primary residence for 20 years. Our property records recorded the purchase on 5/31/2002. The intent with the quit claim deed is to update my wife’s name to our married name. She is already on the current deed under her maiden name but we were listed as single individuals at the time of the purchase and married on 9/4/2002 the same year as we purchased the property. I am very interested in the easiest way to update the deed to show we are married. We were married in Broward County where the property is also recorded.
