IRS W-7 Form
Full Conversation
Good day, I am a partner in a Floridian company and our advisors have to submit a K-1. I live in Germany and am taxed in Germany. I completed the IRS Form W-7, however stopped seeing that I need to submit my original passport, which of course I need for traveling. The offices I see are nowhere near Miami, which is usually where I am every 2–3 months. Wondering if there are any other solutions once I submit my IRS Form W-7 to prove my identity.
I understand how challenging it can be to navigate tax requirements while living abroad. Have you already submitted your IRS Form W-7, or are you still in the process of completing it?
I completed the IRS Form W-7 but have not submitted it.
Are you looking for alternatives to submitting your original passport, or do you need assistance with the entire process of obtaining an ITIN?
Just help with submitting my original passport.
Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured they’ll be able to help with submitting your original passport.
No, that would be all.
